…and I don’t know why and I’m a little embarrassed about it.
I’m reading her latest. Twice a year, I’m reading her latest. I buy them as soon as they come out. I read them. I enjoy them… I forget them.
This is brought home clearly in releases like Obsession in Death that call back to previous books and I honestly don’t remember a thing about the previous book it’s talking about.
Still, I enjoy it while I’m reading it.
She consistently puts out an enjoyable read with a solid mystery, two sex scenes per book (that I generally skip because it’s pretty vanilla), witty banter, and familiar characters.
If you’re looking for an entertaining read, start back at book one, Naked in Death. If you’re looking for something you’ll remember a week later…. well….
